“ This place is AMAZING. They serve black beans & salsa to start (not a fan of the salsa) but the pescado a la diabla (deviled fishspicy sauce fish) is sooo good, spicy. Fajitas are really good, rice is Mexican rice so good, the drinks are bomb I’m picky when it comes to Mexican but for Jalisco food this is amazing!! They also have a “party room” you can make reservations that fits about 60-70 people, as well as nice outside seating . Try this place & please understand food palate is different from everybody so consider trying this new family owned business ”

“ OMG! This place is awesome! Went there tonight and had the best texmex food! I had the Healthy Chicken Fajitas and it was outstanding! My friend had the Chicken Fajita Salad with homemade dressing. He loved it. The margaritas we not sweet, which is perfect. Salsa and bean dip. Wonderful. They gave us the churros to try and they were outstanding. This is our new place to eat from now on. Please go and experience something wonderful. ”
“ Good place to have authentic Mexican fare. The atmosphere is welcoming and the service is great. We did try the mixed fajitas , salsa n chips and guacamole. The guac and chips was fresh. The fajitas were done right and were flavorful. The house margaritas were also a hit. Highly recommend. A 'will visit again' place. ”
“ I’m an extremely picky person when it comes to Mexican. There’s good Mexican and then there’s bad Mexican. Maria Del Mar, I would consider, is Great Mexican. I would call their menu a fusion between Authentic & Tex Mex. So many great flavors on the menu. We eat here a lot and we love it. I would consider this hands down, the best Mexican restaurant in the Keller, Alliance, Roanoke, TC area. In my opinion it’s not even close and I like quite a few places in the area. Name me a place, I’ve been there and Maria Del Mar tops them all. I don’t understand why it doesn’t ever have a wait, because it’s delicious food. Can’t complain because we always sit down immediately and the food comes out hot & fresh, quickly. If you’re looking for truly tasty Mexican with authentic flavors, this is a place you need to try. I want this place to stay in business. You should too if you visit! ”
“ We originally came over here for Los Molcajetes but they’ve moved. We decided to give Maria Del Mar a try, I’m so glad we did. They have seating on the enclosed patio and indoor seating. The music wasn’t too loud to carry a conversation and decor was tasteful. Our food was spectacular! I ordered the beef fajita quesadillas which came with guac and sour cream, homemade refries beans and rice. However, the table chips and salsa were fantastic! My husband who doesn’t eat salsa that has any kind of spice even dipped into the salsa, it was fresh and flavorful. I poured some onto my quesadillas as well. Our server, Alejandro was friendly and very attentive! Great job and Thank you for our enjoyable family lunch today!! ”
“ Maria del Mar was amazing! It was our 1st time there & we met my best friend for her birthday for lunch. We all got a different taco combination late, & it was so good! The chips were so fresh & delicious! The salsa was yummy as well as the refried black beans. I ordered water with lemon to drink & the water was really good. Hard to find good tasting water, everyone else got the half&half tea. My birria tacos were so delicious!! We enjoyed our food, we stayed there probably 2.5 hours talking! The waitress was very prompt & kind. They brung us complimentary churros! They even brung out a complimentary flan when they found out it was my bestfriends birthday! I absolutely recommend the food, service & the atmosphere. May God continue to bless this establishment & give them favor! ”
